HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

I just wanted to give a bark out to ALL the mother's out there. Without them where would we be? Besides in more trouble than we already stay in? BOL! Mother's are extremely special no matter what kind of momma they are. Be sure to give your momma a special lick and bark out this weekend. And don't leave her any "special" mother's day presents either, BOL! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!! I hope you all have a pawsome weekend!!

P.S. We're looking for me to be a momma towards the end of June. Not to happy about that part but we'll make it all work out.

Be The Change

Hi there! For those of you who don't know me just yet...I'm Phoebe. I'm a mixed pit bull dog that my mom found on the side of the road almost a month ago. I'm new to twitter and to the blogging thing so please bare with me.

I heard about this #bethechange through Twitter so I figured I would give it a shot. So here I go...

On March 19, 2010 my NOW mom rescued me from the side of the road. She had just left her daddy's house and was on her way home when she ran across me. I was not around any houses and I was boney. She had just been to lunch with some of her friends from which she had brought back some grilled chicken dinners for her and daddy. She seen me so of course she had to stop. She broke out some of that chicken and that was ALL she wrote. She had called her daddy and told him my situation and he said "take her on home with you cause knowing these crazy people around here...since she's mixed and they've bred her...they were more than likely trying to use her or the puppies to fight." Mom was going to bring me home with her anyway but when my pawpaw (her daddy) said that...that was all it took.

I am a product of #bethechange. My mom is constantly picking up doggies from the side of the road and bringing them back here to the house and bathing them up and feeding them and just taking care of them. My mom has TOOOOOOO much heart and will NEVER leave a doggie behind as long as she's alive. We've just been lucky that I was the last one that she's seen on the side of the road that was hungry and homeless.

I do absolutely LOVE my new home. I get baths, great food, lots of toys, a nice soft and warm place to sleep at night and lots of brothers and sisfurs to play with. And I'm learning new things every day. Like now I'm learning to walk on a leash, I can sit and I can stay for 2-3 minutes at a time and I'm learning how to properly socialize.

As of right now my goal is to become a therapy dog for children, older people and to be "THE" spokes doggie for shelter anipals and anipals that are dumped off on the side of the road. My mom says once I'm done training, I'm going to make an excellent therapy dog and be an inspiration to so many anipals and hoomins.

But YES! PLEASE! spay/neuter your pets...and DON'T put them out on the side of the road. I'm just ONE of a few miracles...let's help the rest!

Thank You! XXXXXX

My Intro

Hi! I'm Phoebe! It's very nice to meet you and thank you for visiting my blog. I'm a mixed pitbull that my mom found on the side of the road on March 19, 2010. I was just wandering the road and so boney and I wasn't around any houses so she just had to stop and get me. I'm so glad she did! I love it here!!! I love my new sisfurs and brudders and love to play with them...although sometimes I play a little too rough with them and their barking gets on my nerves sometimes, BOL! But any way, that's basically me. I hope you enjoy my blog, pictures, and videos (as soon as I can get some done), as I'm going to try my hardest to keep this blog going and up to date. Thank you again for visiting my blog! XXXX
